DIBA Benefits

• Monthly meetings with local business owners and guest speakers.
• DIBA brochure identifying each of the member businesses. This brochure is distributed to the Charleston Chamber of Commerce, Visitor Information Centers, Real Estate Companies, Daniel Island home owners association and throughout member businesses. DIBA will update the brochure annually.
• DIBA website where visitors can search by owner name, company name, and type of business.
• DIBA Block Parties. Member businesses within a building or block host parties promoting their business and offer a great networking opportunity.
• Member businesses participate in promotional events targeting potential and existing customers, including cooperative advertising opportunities.
• Members share a common voice for local government issues.
• Daniel Island Business Association is a non-profit organization made up of business owners who live or own a business on Daniel Island and want to benefit from networking, learning and building a strong business community. DIBA meets at the Daniel Island Club on the last Thursday of each month at 8:00am.

Our Goals

• To promote Daniel Island Business's as the first place to stop for Daniel Island residents and residents of the surrounding area.
• To encourage business involvement with island events and activities.
• To provide an atmosphere for business owners to discuss ideas, problems, successes and other news.
• To host a forum for guest speakers with knowledge that will increase awareness and provide educational benefits.
• To promote healthy relationships amongst fellow business owners.
